As we wrap up our first nine weeks today, what a great way to celebrate with our Walk to School event, NEMS Pep Rally, and the refreshing of our LOVE sign! These events are wonderful reminders of the school spirit, relationships, and community pride that make Norton City Schools such a special place.
Thank you ALL for your hard work, dedication, and commitment to our students throughout these first nine weeks. I appreciate you!

Reminder that Norton City Schools will dismiss at 12:30 tomorrow, Friday, September 25.
Norton City Schools has scheduled a Special Education Advisory Committee meeting on Tuesday September 1, 5:30 PM at the Norton City Schools School Board Office. This meeting is open to the public.

3. Enter your first name, last name, and email, and create a password.
4. Select a security question.
5. Check YES to receive email notifications.
6. A confirmation email will be sent to you. If you do not receive it, check your Spam folder.
7. Follow the instructions in the email. Your email is used as your username in your profile.
How to Add a Student:
1. Sign in to School Cash Online through https://nortoncityschools.schoolcashonline.com/.
2. Go to MY ACCOUNT.
3. From the dropdown menu, select My Students.
4. Click to add a student.
5. Type in your School Board Name.
6. Select School Name from the list.
7. Enter Student Criteria (Student Number, First Name, Last Name, Date of Birth).
8. CONFIRM
How to Make a Payment:
1. You will be able to view any available items attached to your students that are set up on your account.
2. Select the item which you would like to purchase and click "Add to Cart."
3. Once you have finished adding items to your cart, select "Check Out" to make a payment.

👟Walk to School & Field Day Details 👟
Walk to School Day: We'd love to have you walk to school with your child! Please note that parent drop-off will be at the front doors.
Students can be dropped off at Norton City Park starting at 7:45. If you do not want your
child to participate, you can drop them off at NEMS at normal time.
If a child rides the bus to school, the buses will drop students off at Norton City Park.
We plan to begin walking to NEMS at 8:15.
Field Day: Immediately after arrival, students will kick off Field Day! Because we are running a mix of indoor and outdoor events to accommodate the weather, Field Day will be a student only day.

Physicals will be done this Friday, May 15, at John I. Burton High School. Physical forms are available in the front office and must be filled out completely prior to the student going to the high school. This is for our upcoming 6th graders and up.
We are excited to offer Apptegy Rooms for our NCS families. This is a new program that will be fully implemented for the 2026-2027 school year. If you would like to go ahead and create your account, you follow the steps from the email sent out through Apptegy. This program will be located in the NCS App.
Reminder that school will be closed for Spring break from March 30-April 6th. Students will return to school on April 7th.
