Mitigation Strategies

PHASE I:
- No Lockers
- 3 Feet Social Distancing to greatest extent possible
- Students Travel to Classes
- Frequent Sanitizing in Classes
- HEPA Air filters in all classrooms
- Universal masking for all students and school personnel when indoors and required on buses for everyone
- Collaboration with VDH for contact tracing and quarantine
- Visitors allowed by appointment only and required to wear masks, if not vaccinated
PHASE II:
- No Lockers
- No Cafeteria (Breakfast and Lunch in classrooms)
- Students continue to Travel to classes
- Frequent Sanitizing in Classes
- Students continue to travel to specialist classes at NEMS.
- HEPA Air filters in all classrooms
- Masks required on buses for everyone
- Collaboration with VDH for contact tracing and quarantine
- Visitors allowed by appointment only and required to wear masks, if not vaccinated
PHASE III:
- No Lockers
- No Cafeteria (Breakfast and Lunch in classrooms)
- Teachers Travel at NEMS
- Alternative Classrooms to social distance classes to a minimum of three feet
- Frequent Sanitizing in Classes
- NEMS: Specialists Travel with Exception of PE
- HEPA Air filters in all classrooms
- Masks required on buses for everyone and spacing on bus
- Collaboration with VDH for contact tracing and quarantine
- No Visitors allowed
- Teachers will be required to wear masks
