Dr. Gina J. Wohlford, Division Superintendent
As we enter into the 2022-2023 school year, I am once again honored to be the Superintendent of Norton City Schools and look forward to serving the students, staff, families, and community in this role. Over the past 10 years, Norton City Schools has become a second home for me. It is my privilege to work with our dedicated School Board, administrators, teachers, support staff, and central office staff as we continue to follow our mission of building strong relationships with each student in a safe learning environment where each student is engaged and instruction is personalized and differentiated. It is our expectation that all stakeholders will work together to nurture each student’s social, physical and intellectual growth, to empower each student with the skills to become a responsible citizen, a lifelong learner, and a leader in the global community.
Throughout the continuing challenges of the pandemic, Norton City Schools remained committed to ensuring that our school communities were healthy and connected, and all students were receiving quality instruction and social emotional support that met their needs. This year is no different. Our exceptional educators will continue to display great flexibility, resilience, and perseverance through the adversity brought on by the pandemic. Whether instruction takes place in-person on campus, virtually through distance learning, or a combination of both, students will be provided with the curriculum, programs and leadership that inspires them to be lifelong learners.
Through positive collaboration within our dedicated team at Norton City Schools we will aspire to educate each student to the highest level, as we strive to make a positive difference in the life of each student entrusted to us.
Sincerely,
Dr. Gina Wohlford
Superintendent
