Norton Elementary & Middle School recently held a special assembly
to honor America's veterans. The veterans introduced
themselves and answered questions from the students about their
military service. A special part of the program was
the "Toast to the Flag", a descriptive poem explaining the meaning
of the design and colors used in our flag. Taylor Bolling
from UVA-Wise also entertained the audience with the National
Anthem and America the Beautiful.
