Norton City Schools presented an
Internet Safety Forum on Tuesday, April 26th at Burton High School
to inform parents and students of the simple rules of safe surfing
on the internet. The program was presented by in conjunction
with Safe Surfin' Foundation, Blue Ridge Thunder and the Bedford
County Sheriff's Office.
Remember:

Locate computers in a family area.

Keep your passwords safe.
ü
Spend time with your children online.
ü
Technology is not a parent substitute.
ü
Do not permit children to give out
personal information online.
ü
Do not post a personal profile online.
ü
Know to whom your kids are speaking.

Do not use a debit card online.
ü
Encourage communication with your
kids.
