Ø  Teaching and learning are greatly enhanced by a school atmosphere of mutual respect, cooperation and self discipline;

Ø  The school is a community of common interests and there must be a commitment to a set of values and expectations which serve as a guideline;

Ø  All students, teachers and staff are expected to know and follow guidelines and regulations established by the school, school board and the Commonwealth of Virginia;

Ø  Parents are expected to be fully involved in their child’s education and join with school officials in developing and enforcing a level of discipline which will ensure a safe learning environment; and

Ø  In order to provide this type of climate the school will not tolerate any individual or group behavior which threatens the health, welfare or rights of any person.
