Thirteen of some of J. I. Burton's finest
students took a day off from learning and traveled to Glade
Spring, VA on December 14th to work on a Habitat for Humanity
project. The homeowners lost their home to the tornado that
devastated the area last spring. The students worked all day
long helping complete whatever jobs were needed. First, they
had to move a large pile of cinder blocks so that the ground could
be graded. Next, the students worked together to dig a ditch
for a sewer line. Congratulations for your hard work
and for your caring for others!
