NEMS recently installed a new dividing curtain in the new
gymnasium enabling two P.E. classes to meet simultaneously.
The curtain is mounted on the ceiling framework and is able to
roll down and up thereby dividing the gym floor into two equal
areas. The Norton Elementary and Middle School PTA
graciously provided the funds for the purchase and installation.
New stage curtains were also
recently installed in the cafetorium. The new black front,
ceiling and back curtains replace the original stage curtains
which have become dry rotted and torn over the past 36 years.
An anonymous donor provided the funds for this great improvement
to the stage.
